Welcome to the corner of the internet where you’re not considered a weirdo for wearing brightly colored clothes, loving Lisa Frank, and listening to the 90’s station on repeat.

Over here, that type of stuff isn’t just enjoyed… it’s encouraged. While everyone is busy doing that thing called #adulting, we’re wondering who exactly said we had to conform to become an adult. We miss slumber parties with friends, dying our hair pink “just because”, and DIY’ing just about anything we could get our hands on. But don’t worry… all that stuff isn’t gone, and we can do it together!

You’re in the right place if:

  • Super fun DIY projects are the only thing keeping you sane right now

  • You want to take your parties and social gatherings to a whole ‘nother level

  • The Britney Spears song “I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman” is the only thing that accurately describes your life

  • You’re looking for virtual BFF’s that totally get you

Well, that’s me. I get you. I spent a lot of time trying to tweak myself to be the person I thought I needed to become. It turns out, adulting can be anything you want it to be. For me, that means wearing colorful clothes, planning really fun (and slightly ridiculous) parties, and doing DIY projects like there’s no tomorrow. I spent a lot of time trying to be “professional” and “womanly” and, well, “adult”. The issue was that I wasn’t being myself, but what I thought I needed to be so that I could be considered an adult. It wasn’t until I started blogging that I realized there was a whole bunch of other weirdos just like me out there. Armed with ridiculously bright clothing (and a glue gun), we strive to make the world a more fun and colorful place to be.

Tell Me More, Tell Me More...

About the Blog:

I started Party HarDIY (formerly WellKeptChaos) back in April of 2016 with the intention of being an organization and lifestyle blog. Over time, my love for party planning and DIY projects took over the blog, and I couldn’t be happier about the direction it’s going in! You can read more about the way PHD developed here. PHD gets new posts once a week on Thursdays.

If you have any questions, ideas, or suggestions, send them my way! You can contact me here

About You:

I’m from NYC, but I recently bought a house and moved out to Long Island with my husband and our 3 cats. During the week I’m an office manager, but on the weekends I’m a crafter, blogger, and party stylist. I love anything pink, cupcakes, and Disney!

If I could describe myself in 3 words it would be cheesy, crafty, and probably crazy :p

About Your Services:

I’m an overachiever by nature (#sorrynotsorry) so I offer a few different services! First off, I offer virtual party planning to help you plan the party of your dreams (without much effort on your part, I might add). Or, if you’re looking for some advice, I’m your gal! I’ll give you the tough love you need to make some moves. Sign up here.

About Your Photography:

I’m a self taught photographer (yes, really!) and I love taking my own pics for the blog. My skills came out of necessity- I couldn’t afford to hire anyone, and I needed some great photos for the blog. It’s one of the skills I’m most proud of! If you want to learn, I have a free introductory course and a more comprehensive paid course where I teach you allllll my tips and tricks so you can take amazing photos too- in just a weekend!
