DIY Snow Cone Earrings

Now that I’ve officially switched over to my summer wardrobe, I’m looking for some fun accessories that can spice up my outfits. I find that a lot of times I wear the same outfit over and over, but I love to switch out my accessories in between. Since we all know I love to DIY anything I can get my hands on, I decided to make these snow cone earrings out of just printer paper and styrofoam balls! They’re great because they can be made in any color of your choosing. They can even be made for Fourth of July in red, white, and blue. Let me give you a quick overview of the steps, because it’s extremely simple. All you’re doing is painting the Styrofoam balls, tracing the snow cone wrapper template, adding the earring pieces and gluing it all together. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

This project would be so fun to make with older kids or teens, or even by gathering up your girlfriends. Grab some rosé and get to crafting! These are now some my favorite earrings that I own and I can’t wait to wear them all summer long. They’re sure to cool off a hot summer day!

DIY Spring Pipe Cleaner Rings

There’s something about holidays that makes me especially crafty. I absolutely LOVE a good holiday craft, and I personally don’t think they all need to be saved for Christmas. Since Easter is coming up, I scoured the attic for supplies and decided to make these adorable rings out of pipe cleaners! They’re simple to make and pretty silly, so I think the kids would LOVE them.

I added some fun embellishments, like pom poms, felt flowers and glitter paper to create some spring characters. I kind of want to wear these all the way until Easter, since they’re so cute! Plus they really play up my lavender manicure.

DIY Boombox Music Valentines

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and I am still sorta in shock- wasn’t it Christmas 5 minutes ago?! Well, don’t worry- there’s still plenty of time to prepare some Valentines for the kiddos! While you can really easily purchase a stack of Minnie Mouse valentines at your local drugstore, I think it’s way more fun to make your own! I think these would also be great if you paired them with an iTunes gift card for your kids or family members. Gone are the days when you needed to hang out by the radio with a cassette tape inside, waiting for your favorite song to play!

These cards are SUPER cheap to make- all you need is a pack of cardstock and some washi tape. That’s it! Some paper punches with make things a bit easier, but you don’t even need those. So, head on over to the Giggles Galore blog to see the full post!

Easy Football Party Crafts

Is it football season yet? I only know the fall for pumpkin picking, apple cider everything, and the ability to totally switch up my wardrobe. However, I know there's a whoooole bunch of people that love it for football! My fiancé is one of those people, so once in a while we hang out with the gang and watch a football game. He's a "less is more" type of guy, and I'm a "what else can we add?" type of gal, so I came up with a happy medium.

DIY Watermelon Napkins

Hey guys! I am so excited to announce that I am now a contributor on Giggles Galore! For those of you that haven't heard about Giggles Galore, it's a blog that focuses on making the ordinary EXTRAORDINARY one creative idea at a time. Most of the projects can be recreated in less than an hour, and on a budget, so you have more time to create memorable occasions filled with giggles galore. Sounds like a perfect place for me to be!

My first project? DIY Watermelon Napkins! Besides watermelon being the absolute best summer fruit, August 3 is National Watermelon Day. I foresee a whooooole lot of watermelon flavored drinks being consumed that day! And everyone will need some of these napkins to go along with them. In case you haven't noticed, I'm a sucker for a theme.
